Seperti biasa perusahaan besar Xiaomi selalu memberi kejutan dalam beberap handset yang mereka rilis,sebelumnya Qualcomm telah memperkenalkan chipset terbaru Snapdragon 820 dan rupanya smartphone yang akan mencicipi kemampuan dari chipset ini adalah handset dari Xiaomi.

Smartphone yang akan diberi nama  “Gemini” terungkap oleh aplikasi Geekbench yang juga mengungkapkan spesifikasi yang diusung oleh smartphone tersebut. Yang membuatnya menarik, pada daftar benckmark tersebut terlihat smartphone terbaru itu mengusung chipset terbaru dari Qualcomm, yakni MSM8996 atau Snapdragon 820.

Spesifikasi yang dibenamkan pada handset terbaru Xiaomi juga dibekali dengan RAM sebesar 3GB dan siap beroperasi dengan Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Sampai saat ini belum ada penampakan tentang flangship dari Xiaomi ini, diharapkan handset ini siap meramaikan pasar pada awal 2016 mendatang.
