• MTK Flash Tool is only compatible with MediaTek smart phones only. It may not work with other types of mobile devices.
• Flashing using MTK root tool is at your own risk. To flash stock ROM files may void the vendor’s warranty.
• The file “pwn” is a file used to root your android device, which will be detected as a malware by your antivirus guard. Detecting the file causes incomplete ROM flashing.

• Go to “Settings” > “Developer” > check “USB Debugging”.
• Establish the connection between the mobile device and the PC.
• We will get a message “drivers successfully installed” at the end of the installation.
• Run MTK tool as administrator (Right click > Run as Administrator)
• MTK tool detects the device and display device info at the left side.
• Click “Root” at the bottom and then click OK if PC prompts and grant if it does on mobile.
• A progress bar appears and gradually it becomes Green from Yellow.
• Click “Backup” and create a backup before rooting.
• After completion of the backup click “To prepare blocks for flash Tool”.
• Follow the instruction appear on the display and MDK droid tool will start rooting your MediaTek.
